Windsong Block of the Month

Tonga Windsong is a 20 piece batik treat collection featuring the best of natures colors. The Windsong BOM uses 13 specially chosen fabrics that represent the colors of the seasons. Traditional piecing techniques are used in making this 108” square quilt. The quilt blocks were created and colored to represent the warm and cool tones of nature, giving customers the chance to see how a simple change in color can affect the block appearance.

This Block of the Month (BOM) will begin in March 2024 and will run for 13 months at a cost of $27.99 per month (plus shipping, which is typically between $5 and $9 per month).  The kit will include the printed pattern and all fabrics needed to complete the top and binding.  The finished quilt is approximately 108" square.

If you don't want to wait for monthly shipments you can order the complete kit here The complete kit will be cut as monthly packets.  It will be available in late March 2024.

Wing and a Prayer Designs does recommend (but they aren't required) the following rulers and tools: Creative Grids 4 1/2" square, and the Creative Grids Ultimate Geese Ruler.  These tools will be available in the webstore. (you can click on each one to go to that page to order).

We do offer a fat quarter Boo Boo bundle for $xx.00.  Having this on hand lets you keep going even if you should make a cutting mistake.

There will be a private Facebook group for the program when it begins in March.  You can connect with others and share tips and tricks.  

The signup fee for this BOM program is $25.00 (non-refundable). 

When you register for any of our BOM (Block of the Month) programs you are registering for the ENTIRE program.  We prepare a kit for you each month with the understanding that you will participate in the program for the duration.  Each month we will send you an email invoice around the 10th of the month.  Once that invoice is paid your monthly packet will be mailed.  If you prefer to pick up your monthly packets, please let us know by choosing 'Local Pickup' during the checkout process.
